Mayor and Lawyers in Chicago Lend-a-Hand to Inner-City Kids

On December 8, 2006 Mayor Richard M. Daley joined members of the Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Lend-A-Hand Program in Chambers of the Chicago City Council to present $45,000 in grants to 17 volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs serving at-risk youth in areas across the city including Cabrini Green, Humboldt Park, Uptown, and South Chicago.

Much Shelist Honors Founders with $35,000 Contribution to Lend-a-Hand... MORE>>Much Shelist

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, December 8, 2005 – Much Shelist Freed Denenberg Ament & Rubenstein, P.C., in celebration of the firm's 35th anniversary this year, has honored its five founders with a $35,000 contribution to the Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Lend-a-Hand Program. The money will be used by Lend-a-Hand to create and fund the new Much Shelist Founders' Award, which will be given annually to an up-and-coming tutor/mentor program in Chicago that has been in existence for less than five years.
